Pengembangan E-book Dwibahasa (Jawa-Indonesia) Berbasis Profil Pelajar Pancasila sebagai Bahan Ajar Materi Teks Dialog di SMP

Abstract

Based on the observation at a Junior High School in Semarang showed that 7th Grade students were struggling in Javanese class. It was because most of the students are from outside Java which means they have no Javanese background. Beside that, they were also lack of understanding level regarding to unggah-ungguh basa as well as their Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Therefore, a product in a form of bilingual e-book (Javanese-Indonesian) based on Profil Pelajar Pancasila was designed on dialogue text material. The method of this study was Research and Development (R&D) designed by Sugiyono. The steps including in the research were 1). Issues and potential identification; 2). Data collection; 3). Product designing; 4). Design validation; and 5). Design revision. The source of the data was collected from 53 male and 40 female freshman students, the teachers, and also expert validators. Observation, interview, and questionnaire were used as data collection techniques. Meanwhile, qualitative and quantitative descriptive were employed as data analysis techniques. The results collected from the study are 1). The students and teachers need various Javanese learning material that can be easily understood by non-Javanese students; 2). The prototype of bilingual e-book (Javanese-Indonesian) learning material of dialogue text learning contents containing Profil Pelajar Pancasila which can be accessed in Heyzine site; 3). Prototype validation by media experts acquiring 90% level of feasibility which classified as “Very feasible”, while prototype validation by material experts acquiring 71% which classified as “Feasible”.
